| As has been generally recognised, English is becoming more and more important. The most recent estimates suggest that 377 million people speak English as their first language. As for the number of people who use English as a second language, that is, people whose mother tongue is not English but who live in countries in which English has official or joint official status, there are no official figures. However, the estimate often quoted is 300 million. English is the official or joint official language of over 70 countries. As for the number of people who speak English as a foreign language, there are also no figures available but the estimates span from 300 million to 750 million. This said, our mission is based upon a concept of enhancing our clients’ capacity and self-confidence for effective communication whereas our aim is to remove barriers inevitably present in intercultural communication and to give our contribution to the global understanding. We endeavour to create an ambience of full understanding through gathering a pool of professionals devoted to hard work, constant education and cooperation, brain-storming, utilisation of modern equipment, punctuality and respect for time frames, agreed prices and clients’ desires. Our clients are individuals, companies and organisations wishing for their voice to be heard and for their message to be received in every corner of the world.
